Vice President of Business Development (BPO/ITO Services & Solutions)
Our privately held organization generates $500MM+ annually and is positioned for IPO on the Hong Kong Exchange. The company is based in the US with locations throughout the US, Latin America and Asia.
The Sales Executive will have direct sales experience within the BPO/ITO industry and be responsible for prospecting and nurturing new business logos via networking, cold calling, trade shows, etc. This individual must have experience preparing RFP’s, negotiate contracts and provide follow-up information. We are particularly interested in BFSI and travel verticals. A domestic travel schedule is anticipated.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ø Be an individual Sales Executive Contributor. This is a stand alone sales position.
Ø Direct Targeted Sales & Marketing: Sales acquisition, Closed loop lead generation & management, Order processing and provisions, and Retention/”win-back” programs
Ø Account Management: Customer care, Tech support/Help Desk, Collateral fulfillment, Save Desk, and Returns processing
Ø Identify prospective client list.
Ø Develop Annual Strategic Business plan
Ø Must be competent in support of RFPs and the development of their responses, proposal development, and delivery of PowerPoint presentations.
Ø Provide reasonable sales activity reporting as directed.
Ø Participate in trade shows, seminars and other public events as necessary, and perform other position and/or segment related projects and activities as requested or directed.
Ø Prospecting ‑ cold calling.
Ø Carry a quota of approximately $1-$3 million+ in annual sales after a period of learning.
Ø Travel nationally. Up to 40% of the time, if required.
Ø BA/BS is required
Ø 10+ years experience selling third party call center services is essential
Ø 3+ years selling ITO solutions, such as tailored software development, IVR/Video IVR, SaaS, Smart Device Applications (Apps), Social Media Software Applications, etc..is preferred but not mandatory
Ø All candidates must have a proven record of success and sound tenure.
Ø $125K-$140K + Commissions (3,2,1% offshore/nearshore, 2,1,1% onshore)
Ø First year there is no given quota, but thereafter will be expected to generate $3M-$5M annually in new logo business.
Ø Employment Agreement does not require a non-compete
Ø Competitors include Accenture, Genpact, Sutherland Group, TeleTech, Convergys, Sykes, SITEL, StarTek, Teleperformance, and Alorica.
